Touhou 15 Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom
In Touhou 15: Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom the Lunarians from the Moon invade Gensokyo, aiming to purify the land and make it suitable for their kind. This purfication process would threaten to destroy earth, the protagonists-Reimu, Marisa, Sanae, and Reisen-, assisted by the ultramarine orb elixer, which allows them to forsee immediate future events set out to confront the lunarians and find the person behind the invasion. The person behind the invasion is soon revealed to not even be the lunarians.
Main Characters
Reimu Hakurei – The miko of the Hakurei Shrine who maintains the Great Barrier and resolves incidents.
Marisa Kirisame – A self-taught magician who collects magical items and frequently joins Reimu in investigations.
Sanae Kochiya – Sanae is a wind priestess who resides at the Moriya Shrine. She possesses the ability to grant miracles and uses a combination of divine powers and wind-based attacks in her battles.
Reisen Udongein Inaba – Reisen is a moon rabbit who fled to Earth and now resides in Eientei. She possesses the ability to manipulate insanity and uses this power to disorient her enemies.
Characters
Seiran – First stage boss, She is a moon rabbit who is apart of the lunarian military, She was tasked to go to earth to inflitrate and prepare it for the eventual lunarian invasion.
Ringo – Second stage boss, Ringo is also a moon rabbit who is apart of the lunarian military she is a major part of the invasion as she is in charge of managing information and intelligence for the lunarian forces.
Doremy Sweet – Third stage boss, Doremy is a dream-devouring youkai who rules the dream world. She has the ability to enter and manipulate the dreams of others.
Sagume Kishin – Fourth stage boss, Sagume is an important figure in lunarian politics, she is the first major character to the plot as she reveals the reason why lunarians are invading Gensokyo. She reveals that they are doing it as a way to flee from a more dangerous threat that may be even more dangerous to earth than lunarians.
Clownpiece – FIfth stage boss, Clownpiece is a fairy from Hell who arrived in Gensokyo with a mission to cause madness and chaos. She is a mischievous and unpredictable character who wields a torch that can drive others into a frenzy.
Junko – Sixth stage boss, Junko is the person who is behind the invasion, the invasion was a result of her attack on the lunarian capital in an act of revenge for taking someone away from her. Her attack on the lunarians made them flee to earth and need to purify it for lunarians to live there, She is a being of pure hate, she has the ability to purify anything.
Hecatia Lapislazuli – Extra stage boss, Hecatia is the goddess of hell who resides in the Three Realms: Earth, the Moon, and the Outerworld. She has helped Junko in her mission against the Lunarians.
